Roland Institute of Technology is located in Berhampur, Orissa. The college came into existence in 2002. It is an autonomous institute, affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela. With the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Roland Institute of Technology offers four-year, full-time undergraduate engineering program in various branches, along with full-time master in computer applications program. Roland Institute of Technology aims to create well-qualified and skilled technical personnel, who can cope with the ever-emerging trends in technical field. Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from CHSE, Orissa or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as major subjects and any one out of Chemistry/ Computer Science/Biology/Biotechnology as optional subject of study.
For Lateral entry- the candidates, who have passed diploma of 3 years in corresponding subject with 60% marks in aggregate are eligible.

Post Graduate:
MCA
The applicants should have passed graduation in any discipline with Mathematics or Statistics as a major subject in the last two years of schooling.

Admission Procedure:

Undergraduate:
Admissions to 70% seats are done on the merit basis of Joint Entrance Examination conducted by Biju Patnaik University Technology, Rourkela and 15% seats are filled according to All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) rank of the candidates. Rest 15 % seats are reserved under management/NRI quota. Marks of Joint Entrance Examination conducted by Orissa Private Engineering College Association (OPECA) are also considered.

Post Graduate:

Selection is per the candidate’s rank in MCA Orissa JEE, conducted by the university.
